Real Media Corporation LLC a part of Zee Network and Essel Group was founded in December 2004 as a content supplier for Zee TV - India's first Hindi satellite channel.

Subhash Chandra, the group chairman decided to have a formidable presence in Middle East and Pakistan thus Real Media was formed to look after all the interest of Zee Network and Essel Group in the region.
